mentors and supporters of Ashley T. White

This remarkable teen mom’ s courage, perseverance and principles brought us together – strangers whose only common bond is support of Ashley’s life goals for herself and her 4-year old daughter Dashalya. 

We are the antithesis of an “organization” –there are no memberships, dues, meetings, mailings or telephone solicitations, no coffee mugs, or membership certificates.

The award for being an Ashley supporter?  It’s purely personal – knowing that you helped Ashley to finally culminate 5 years of rigorous full-time academic studies and receive her bachelor’s degree from Howard University in May of 2008.

Update: Ashley T. White will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree on Saturday, May 10th 2008 from Howard University. She graduates Magna Cum Laude!

It has been a long four years, but I finally did it! I will now be a graduate of one of the most prestigious historically Black universities in the country. My education will not stop here. I plan to attend graduate school to obtain an MSW in Social Work. I feel victorious and truly blessed to have accomplished one of the most important goals in my life. Thank you all for your support, your prayers and encouragement.  Love, Ashley
